Definite: Adams, Chi and Fournette
Normally I'd say Godchaux, but we've been hanging on to guys lately.

I think if we win anything of significance:
Fournette (going regardless)
Jamal Adams (70/30 gone)
Malachi Dupre (60/40 gone)
Davon Godchaux (50/50 gone)

Adams and Fournette are first round locks. I would expect Dupre and Godchaux to be more than 50/50 to go, but I also expected White and Beckwith to go and think both of those may be better pro prospects than Dupre and Godchaux.
Looking at the rest of the team, I don't see anyone else really. We will have a ton of seniors who will get drafted so the juniors won't get as much playing time. I mean we will have Pocic, Dural, Neal, Bower, Beckwith, White, Thomas, and Jefferson as draftable seniors. Then there the underclassmen who are ineligible like Teuhama, Tolliver, Key, Clapp, whoever the right tackle is, Guice, etc.

All depends on how healthy they can stay

Usually I would say Fournette is a lock to go, but he has even said some things about staying four years. Obviously it's a reach to Mars at best, but you never know and with how everybody came back this year...
So I'll only put obvious for the seniors.
90%+ RANGE
Fournette - 1st round
Dupre - 1st round
Adams - 1st round
Godchaux - 1st/2nd round
-25% RANGE
Will Clapp - 4th round (early guess based on only one year of data)
John Battle - 4th/5th round (if he gets the start and shows out, plus his measurables stand out)
Brandon Harris - 5th-7th round (based on measurables, physical talents, pro style offense and the likes that he improves by a decent amount)
Darrel Williams - 6th round-UDFA (see Spencer Ware/Michael Ford)
So I'll only put obvious for the seniors.

The 2 years so many left early stuck us w/ young guys who started for a couple years and left early too, it was kind of a cycle, with guys staying now most of our starters will be seniors keeping younger guys from starting which kind of forces them to return.....for example Lacouture, if he leaves, Herron an Gilmore start or play much more and then 1 or both leave, now they will stay... Also the simplicity of Chavis defense had guys figuring they had no more to learn/ no way to get better...the D lineman weren't learning anything under Brick either. We've now had a shift in the opposite direction. There was no way to win a title before

Godchaux has a kid, and I think his mom can use the financial support. He gone.

Maybe we should wait till they play a single down of the 2016 season before speculating

Where is the fun in that? It's the recruiting board, speculate is all we do here.

You didn't read his story in the Advocate? Godchaux is using his college stipend to help pay his mother bills right now.

BAM! That's the key. When you get tons of early departures it creates more early departures the next couple of years because the kids get early exposure. Now that Les stopped the stampede you have players like Donte Jackson who will be backups because guys like Tre White stayed. If White had left, and Donte started in 2016, he'd be a sure-fire early departure after 2017.

I don't see a way in hell that LF, Chi, Adams or Godchaux stay.

2016 definite starter (meaning I know these guys will start) losses
Pocic
Fournette
Dural
Dupre
(Gordon/Jeter)
Neal
LaCouture
Godchaux
Beckwith
White
Adams
If Riley, Boutte, and Jefferson start that means 14 of 22 starters will be gone next year. That's 4-5 on offense and 4-6 on defense that we'll bring back for 2017. Don't frett because although we'll lose those guys plus D Thomas, Bower and Thompson, we still have the pieces to be great in 2017 also.

What will Les Miles eat for lunch on 11/15/2016....besides the obvious of course

Fournette is obviously the best prospect of the rising juniors. I expect him to be the first pick of the draft except for any franchise QBs that might be available. However, Malachi Dupre is next. He is a much better prospect than Jamal Adams (who I expect to go mid to late first round). Malachi will be in the top seven or eight picks probably. It always surprises me that we can have a player this good and some LSU fans never realize it until he's gone. (Chi, Trai, Mills, Jalen Collins)
Other underrateds on this team are: Lacouture, Riley and Tre White.

I really hope you're right about Chi, that he is that good. No doubt he's very talented but I just don't get the hype of him being a high first or even a first round pick at all. To me he pales in comparison to Landry and OBJ. Cheers to him showing out like those two guys and getting drafted high.

You don't get the hype of him being a 1st round pick??? Hold on, hold on. Have you realized that we've had QB play as bad as or worse than 2010 for two straight years now?
Beckham - 1st rd: 1st 2 years LSU = 84 rec 1188 yards 4 TDs
Randle - 1st pick, 2nd rd: 1st 2 years LSU = 44 rec 717 yards 5 TDs
Landry - Mid 2nd Rd pick: 1st 2 years LSU = 60 rec 716 yards 5 TDs
LaFell - 3rd rd: 1st 2 years LSU = 55 rec 796 yards 6 TDs
Dupre - 1st 2 years LSU = 57 rec 1016 yards 11 TDs
Dupre is 6'3, somewhere north of 190lbs with a 40+ in vertical, and a nose for the endzone. He's likely to double his career TD total next year which would put him 3rd all time in LSU history behind two guys who played in games for four years.
He has the skillset, he has and will have the production, and he's in the proper system. All I can say is, prepare for the show next year.
