1) What makes you think Jackson would want to transfer? If he CAN go back to Tennessee, he will, if only because he won't have to sit out a year. He's going into his junior year, and he's almost certainly jumping to the pros early. He's got one year left. Why on earth would he want to extend it to two by transferring?

2) Unless......he got kicked off Tennessee's team. And if that is the case, what on earth makes you think Les wants him?

I just don't see it happening. And I didn't even discuss JJ's bridge-burning.

And if he had proper parental guidance, Janzen would never had pulled those tactics on signing day.

BS JJ would have been the top safety in '11.

Especially when your parent has been a college coach for 20+ years.

Yeah, Safety play like his must be the reason the Vols never gave up big plays this year, like a QB draw going for an 80 yard TD . . .

I haven't followed the Vols religiously or anything, but I've never seen anything from Jackson to suggest that he is significantly better than the guys we have, and I certainly never saw anything close to Eric Berry-style ability. Jackson is another quality athlete, and another one of those is always nice to have, but not enough to take a big risk on. I'm confident that if/when it comes time to make that decision, Les & Co. will have far more information on this than any of us do. And if they decide he's worth the risk, then I'll hope for the best and support him and them. And if they decide he isn't, then I'll support them and hope for the best for LSU and Jackson (whereever his life goes, unless it's to another team).

99% of D-1 DBs would have made those plays. Those mistakes were not about athleticism or speed.
Those were dumb routes considering the time left on the clock in the case of the first one, and field position in the 2nd one.

I'd rather lose a football game than win with with a roster loaded with sexual deviants, thieves and hoodlums like Florida and Tennessee. Miles doesn't get near the credit he deserves for being as successful as he has been and it is even MORE impressive when you consider how clean he has kept the program.

Les Miles would never take a player kicked off another SEC team.

Let's get this very clear, I DON'T WANT HIM and I know his family well!

But Hatcher is the worst safety I've seen in 10 yrs. Absolutely sucks in coverage and misses tackles trying land the big hit. No fundamentals and footwork is shabby!

You just have to know the situation and position to know how fricking simple those plays were! And they were a few of MANY over the last few weeks!

Even if that's true, Reid, Loston and Taylor have done well. And while Jackson had some notable plays, I never saw a consistent performance play after play that suggested to me that he would be much better than everyone on our roster. He blew plays, too. All safeties do.
