Saw him in the dome and was intrigued. Did some background checking on him as I was from that general area.
Kid is a special athlete but yes, I know it's only AA.

Left handed
High 80s fastball
Offered 2 sports by Army (or Navy) and Mcneese for sure.....there are others but I don't have that info.
Legit 4.5 speed
Accurate, fast, etc

Seems as though baseball could be his long term future and doesn't seem to be a bad play for both sports.

Great kid from a super family. If im not mistaken he has a 4.0 as well as an act somewhere in the 28 range. Good luck to him wherever he choses

Don't count him out for LSU. We may need to sign 2 QBs next year. One should be at least a high 4 star. If so, it'll be tough to sign another national recruit. He might be a good 3 star development guy.

I know Lance well....he's created a nice pipeline of Welsh area players.

Also, we spoke about 3 days before nsd and he was convinced Jansen was coming to us...

Spoke w more peeps since OP, don't be sold on Mcneese......senior year in baseball coming and interest in his pitching is heating up.

Back to original thought, IF as a lefty he is throwing high 80s (I've heard he touched 90 last summer), doesn't seem too bad of a backup plan for a warm body at qb, and a baseball athlete as well.
I know his uncle well from the past, gonna reach out and get updated..

I was wondering this same thing. He is a true duel threat QB that could potentially blossom at LSU over time. I think the only negative comments ive heard is his size.
I know his family well too. I wouldnt say he is a Guidry lock if LSU comes snooping lol
Beef42...Bobcat!! Good to see you around

I know Zach and his family and I am a Welsh Alum, he is a great kid, great student of the game, makes rare mistakes on the field. He has a lot of heart and played both sides of the ball the last 2 years. He is the best QB we have ever had, and yes he is a SR. I think he absolutely deserves to be looked at. He has offers from ULL, Army, McNeese, ULM to name a few, although I’m sure after the championship he has had a few more offers and will probably get more offers before NSD and we’ll deserved. He is for sure worth a look see, because he has legit speed and a high IQ. He could serve well as a do it all player or a Free Safety.
