This guy is a must have in this class. I was skeptical when I heard everyone comparing him to tyrann, but this kid is a straight baller and will be a player no matter where he goes. Amik

Is it weird that I feel bad for the kids that get compared to honeybadger??

Seriously, there's always one or two a year that draws that comparison, and I don't think it's fair

I hope he end up with us though...the competition will be strong at Lsu but if you ball out you will play.

He better be a baller at 157 pounds.

No, but I wish he would have.

Sometimes, folks make too much of height, weight.. etc. Some guys are just sraight football players, and this kid fits the bill.

5'9 157? Yeah thats pretty skinny. Bet moffit could put at least 20-25lbs on him. Some body types just cant keep weight on though

I wonder what the hold up is. He's dominated every event and has some impressive film, especially when you consider he played part of the year with a partially torn acl. It seams inevitable he gets an offer, why make him wait.

Rumor is les loves him, but it seems les is letting the coaches have the final say so at there postion.

It is what it is. When you can pretty much pick and choose any DB in the nation, kids this size have to wait. Doesn't mean he can't play. Doesn't mean he will not receive an offer. Just part of the process. He's listed at 5'9" 157 with a 4.62 40 on his Hudl. There's a lot of guys with better measurables. I agree that actual play on the field should outweigh other factors, but college coaches disagree.

My thing is, from what everyone is saying its a matter of when, not if he gets offered. Why wait if you know it's coming?

I know he has disadvantages because of his size but we offered Kirkland to play corner and he plays QB in highschool. I would rather offer the undersized kid who has proven himself over and over again at a position than the ideal size athlete who doesn't know what he's doing in the same position.

Just because he plays QB in high school doesn't mean he has no clue how to be a corner.

Mo Claiborne was a QB in high school.
