Jonathan Pixley is the head coach at Dunham and the Red Storm AAU team. I know he also works with kids 1 on 1.

Ari Fisher does personal training for basketball. He coached at Our Lady of Mercy this past year and uses the gym over the summer. One of my cousins is training with him. He coached UHigh for about a decade and won a few state titles with Big Baby, Garrett Temple et. al.

He is just now getting back into caoching after burning out and retiring from UHigh.

Jveronte,

How are you going to keep Dylan grounded with all of this hype already?

You teach a fast horse to run fast not slow...you haven't seen anything yet...if the media is hyping him up now wait until he hits 17-18 god spare our lives and keeps him healthy...

The work that we are putting should be approaching maximum capacity about that time...

Dylan knows what phase of training he is in....in short, it's hype to you. To us its people acknowledging his athletic abilities. something that we clearly cant hide anymore.

I just wanted to say your blessed to have a up and coming top talented son. I know you will keep him grounded.

Also I hope to be watching him in Tiger stadium with him wearing purple and gold. But good luck to you and him.

Cool. Just wondering. Does he have any brothers or sisters that play sports?

I missed the game, heard our numbers are down, lots of attrition, anything to that?

I second Ari Fisher, he's been working with my son, its made a big difference.

Numbers are down significantly from the past couple of years. Starters look good, but we are going to be lacking depth.

Mr Jrevonte, no disrepected meant by asking this question, but do you see the media hype as a good thing? Keep in mind that the media can be vicious! The same ones that are writing the praise filled articles and shooting the videos proclaiming him a star now will be the very same ones proclaiming him a bust if he fails to develop into a certain caliber of player by a certain time! Have you ever considered the effects this sort of pressure may be having on him? I'm sure every guy he faces this coming season will be coming after him extra hard trying to make a name for themselves. Im not trying to upset or anger you, but it just seems like a lot for a 14 yr old to endure.

I've wondered the very same question. I would be scared of the media based on what I've see with other players in the past. I've also wondered if he worries about the pressure he may receive from his teammates that are just as good but not receiving this type of attention because they are older than him? Again this is just a question. No disrespected intended. Dylan is a great player and I would love to see him succeed to the next level and the next level after that but the media can be vicious.
