One. It's not that big of a deal but why is FSU ahead of us (see link)? We have the same amount of five stars, one more four star, and the same amount of three stars. We have 21 commits, they have 20. And, get this, the average for LSU is 3.71, for FSU 3.7.

Two. Bama is just ridiculous. Looking at their recruiting class (SEVEN five stars, 14 four stars) is enough to make you just give up watching football anymore. What this means is that there will be no drop off for at least another four years.

Here's the link: LINK

THis is debatable, but I think OSU has the most impressive class.

Don't let the hype bother you.

Alot of these kids play against and with really poor talent.

Alot are headcases.

Alot are discipline cases.

Alot have no work ethic.

And alot can't handle being away from mommy.

Stars represent potential, and only that.

I think the points vary by position and that's accounting for FSU having a higher total.

What's more important is team needs, how you develop, etc. Clemson is a prime example.

Yeah, Ohio St's class is ridiculous. DB group is insane.

Clemson's 2018 class has potential to be insane. Just the duo of Trevor Lawrence and Xavier Thomas alone is crazy. That's 2 future franchise players.

On paper, it's a great class. In reality, who knows how many of their players will be contributors, stars, or just get lost among all of the other players they have.

Don't put too much stock into the rankings garbage. It doesn't mean a lot when you take into account that the number of open scholarships change from year to year. Some years a team may have 27 open, other years they may only have around 20. If you sign 27 4 star players, you could end up being ranked higher than a team who signed 20 5 star players.

You also have to take into account position signings. We have two highly rated QBs coming in this year. That skews the numbers and it doesn't tell you anything because they are not going to both be on the field at the same time.

I guess Bama every year get's the ones that aren't all of those things then right?

And if Bama does get the ones that has those issues, we need to start recruiting that pool because Bama has won the last 5 SEC championships and how many Naty's with that talent.

It is based on total points which they have more than us. OSU has a better average than Bama but they are behind them

Not without significant, timely help from officials to get thru BR WITH an enormous star/player ratio advantage.
