Miles Brennan is going to be the reason we will have a difficult time recruiting a top tier quarterback in the next 2 years...because it is clear that he is the future of LSU football, and that future MAY be before the end of the this season.

False and pure speculation at this point in time. You're creating a narrative that does us no good on this board.

We will pull elite QBs once the new offense is installed and Miles' offensive shadow is gone from the program.

I still think we pull Justin Rogers when it's all said and done.

Alabama had a true freshman quarterback light up the Sec last year and signed the #1 quarterback.

Actually if Brennan does well it should showcase our offense and attract QBs.. it was unlikely we were really trying for a QB this year (although I am sure if a top QB asked to come we would take him)... so a 2019 recruit will be saying "I only have to sit one year and then get ready to compete against Narcisse or whoever is the backup.. and they let Brennan play as a true freshman.. so if something happens to Brennan.. I could play as a freshman" at least that is how I would spin it as a recruiter...

FALSE maybe the exact opposite. Canada and staff will be the reason we DO sign top QB talent though. HTT

This is not over just yet. We have a long ways to go. Idk about this year but we will get some talent in here as soon as this offense gets it going. No doubt in my mind. These kids want to make plays and play for a big time program which has all the pieces to make them successful. It would be very hard for a big time QB to say no to a team like LSU if the offense looks anything like Canada's previous stops or better.

I can see you have never played sports in your life and in your own life you are probably scared of competition. Sissy.

But it won't stop several people here from repeating it over and over and over.

False. When McMillan transfers in the next week or two leaving LSU with just 3 scholarship QBs heading into the season something might change.

LSU could be looking at a situation where they only have 2 scholarship QBs heading into next season which is disastrous.

Coaches need to start selling that they have more kickers on the team than QBs.

I don't see McMillan transferring. Unlike Scott, who is a very dynamic talent that could add instant spark to the right offense, JM is not likely to be the #1 QB anywhere he goes. It would pay for him to stay this year, then re-evaluate for 2018.

As for QB recruits, we need O-line more than a QB this year. The 2019 class has several great candidates considering the Tigahs. If Canada's offense shines, we'll be just fine.

So your saying we need worse QB's so that none of the QB's will leave the program? WTF are you talking about?

The only report I've seen from someone that claims to have been at the practice is that Brenan had 2 plays with the 1's and they were both hand offs and his TD was against 3rd string DBs. He was 4/8 which isn't exactly exceptional. I would also remind everyone that Etling started 11 games last season and never threw 2 or more INTs. Don't read too much into scrimmage stats.

If that narrative carried any weight how would Bama be able to get Tagovailoa with Hurts there for two or three more years?
