I’ve been meaning to ask around this, do any of y’all know about the Kyree Walker situation? Someone mentioned it’s looking good for Kyree walking reclassifying and going to LSU. It was completely unexpected to me, but he’s a big time 5 star, it would be a massive get.

Brian Merritt is the connection. He recruited Walker at ASU. Currently the Director of Basketball Operations, could be in line for an assistant position. He’s a former assistant at ASU under Hurley.
Would likely be an assistant now, but he got a DWI.

I’m pretty sure he predicts we will land everyone we recruit. The last update they had on Walker they said LSU just began talking to his dad and he hasn’t even spoken to the staff yet. I wouldn’t call that good shape

This makes me a bit nervous, I believe Merritt is wrapped up in the whole AAU side of things. If i'm not mistaking he was the lead recruiter for Thon Maker.
