Crazy how quick things in portal. A week ago it was certain that Adam Miller goes to Mizzou and Reid goes to VT. Now Reid is going west to the Zags and Adam Miller is between the good guys and TCU.
McMahon has done an outstanding job retooling the roster, given the situation. But I doubt he's done enough to get Miller to return. His most impressive additions were the two recent HS kids, the rest of the transfers look serviceable, but not gamchangers by any means. Hell at this point you can probably sell him on being the star of the team.
Or he can play with Mike Miles Jr again at TCU, who he played with on the USA U19 team, coached by Jamie Dixon. Not to mention TCU being a non-call away from knocking off Arizona this year.
Has there been any update on KJ Williams? I don't see any updates when I google him so I'm wondering if he pulled out the portal.

Manny Bates has committed to Butler
Did we make anybody's final teams besides Desi Sills and presumably KJ Williams?

There is some talk that LSU's staff believes they're getting Shawn Phillips, which would mean Bates' spot is taken.
I dunno if that talk is legit. Or if there's any way to know at this point, recruiting being what it is.
But getting Miller back and then landing Phillips would mean it would be very difficult to top what McMahon has managed to do in the time he has with what he had to work with.

That was the date I heard.
He still has two more visits - Georgetown and Kansas State. But we took Ward away from Georgetown, which is an indication we have a better story to tell, and whatever we all might think of Baton Rouge it has to be more desirable than Manhattan Freaking Kansas.
