What would you say?

1. DE Jermauria Rasco
2. OL Greg Robinson
3. WR Bradley Sylve
4. DT Mickey Johnson
5. CB Odell Beckham Jr.
6. LB Beau Fitte

Looks good to me, I would say Hunter would be somewhere in the top 8, but he doesnt even have an offer.

I only listed guys with offers. But Fitte looks like once a way too early knee jerk offer.

Personally I would put Beckham Jr. above MJ.

More of a need of good DB's since we already have Freak and Thomas. Almost willing to put him ahead of Sylve too with the recievers we signed in 2010 and committed 2011

Rasco is definitely 1 to the coaches i think.I think personally that Robinson is.
1.Rasco
2.Robinson
3.Sylve-he's better than some people are thinking he is.Also think with his speed, quicks and athleticism that he could end up at cb.I'd take him over Alonzo Lewis but I really want both
4.Johnson-He is really getting a huge amount of attention. All those coaches can't be completely wrong about his talent.
5.Beckham-Because he can play cb
6.Zack Oliver-if we miss on the OOS kids then we are going to need him
7.Fitte-I personally love this guy.Haven't seen film but have heard all he does is rush the passer but you can't teach his speed and if he can play LB at all then i say take him.
8.Hunter-If we miss on Johnson then he could move up but i think we may look OOS for a DT anyway.

I would add S Renaldo Thomas.

I really like his upside and IMO the best Safety prospect in-state.

The Johnson/Bama stuff is being way overblown. He's been a strong LSU lean for a while and he just has to visit Bama and see what the deal is.Sure Bama could pull him but just because he got a "sort of offer" from them and visited doesn't mean anything.I would worry more about Nebraska than Bama at this point.

How many are we signing this year? If its just 20 then there is no way Hunter makes it but if its around 23-23 then I think we take him.

DT Breaux Bridge Churphy Stewart. He will be coming out of prep school. He was the star at LSU's summer camp last year.

If the kid can't make th grade in high school then why risk taking him and hope he makes the grade in college.i'd love to have him because of his talent but i don't want a kid that's not going to be able to stay on the field because of grades. To be honest i don't know exactly how bad his grades are but to hear people tell it on this board they are pretty bad.I think Risean Broussard may be the safer choice if we go the prep school route.

I will double check with a couple of his former high school coaches to make certain, but I believe that he never lasted at the prep school/junior college he ended up going too! Again, I may be wrong, but I know his former coaches personally and I'll find out from them.
Honestly, I wouldn't want to waste a sholly on that cat. He is just flat out LAZY!!! I honestly believe that Quinton Thomas has WAY more upside then him. JMO though!

I totally agree. That is a "dead-on-the-money" recruiting assessment!

I know he's up north, but Fleming is an animal on the field and can run. We need some more film on him.
