Sam Spiegelman says LSU is still talking to Joiner, but you would have to assume he's not a priority at this point. Maybe they're just maintaining contact for down the road, since you never know in recruiting. LINK

If he wanted to come , then you make your commitment known. It's like a marriage of sorts. You announce who you want to be with and then demonstrate it. Joiner is the dude who tells a girl he loves her, bangs all her friends, then gets mad when she finds someone else. shite or get off the pot. I've followed recruiting long enough to be happy that CEO and CMC aren't playing those games. What you end up with is that dude ditching you last minute and you're stuck bc you invested all your time into him. You end up with a hole in your class bc of it. So, frick him.

High School Kids are starting to make a mockery of the recruiting process. A lot of time, energy and emotions are wasted by the coaching staff that could be used on kids that are 3*>5*(less divas). They are ready to commit. Most of the guy's that are 5*& 4* have been holding offers for years and still are playing games until the last minute. Develope the 3* and sprinkle in a couple of 5* & 4* and last use that energy and focus on winning.

Little birdies saying Franklin will get his grades right so all is not lost. If he does all LSU from someone that speaks to him almost everyday. Not going to lie I am pretty confident in kid that told me this. For what it is worth, I do not know Franklin at all. All you English Nazis sorry!

I thought I had read he didn't camp well and the coaches weren't very impressed with him.

Might've just been a track guy, not a football player. That definitely happens and I'm glad the coaches recognize the difference.

Not sure how reliable the source is but here's where I read that Valentine struggled in drills.

Still holding onto hope for Carter; Franklin as our primary rbs.

Then Bolden; and Keys as our scat backs; and slot receivers.

I know probably wishful thinking and would require a decomit or two.

Go Tiger's

Negative cook is all FSU. I wish we could get him and if anyone else has a shot I believe it'd be LSU. Just would be a hard get. I think franklin or a wild card back If they take one. Really think even if he decommits we go franklin or use the spot for a dif position. Go 2-3 backs again next year

Ehh, I really like Cook, but he's another complimentary back that's a luxury take. LSU doesn't need to waste tons of spots on backs. Brossette, Fournette, Edwards-Helaire, Ducre, plus two 2018 commits, that's enough. We need to show the guys in 2019 that LSU isn't cluttered.
