Well, MOST kids stay in state, but I'd guess at MINIMUM 50% of those that go out, announce at a school function.
I'd bet 50% is way higher than it really is.

He also indicated that Haley's last in-home visit with the family last Thursday was very good and helped set the stage for Wednesday's announcement.

I can't help but look at one of the final statements in the article. I actually think Jernigan might be coming here with the statements in the article and especially this one. Hopefully he is setting the stage to trek to Baton Rouge, LA!

So did Kenny Bell and he almost got his arse kicked..
What's your point?
Mine is: Seems it would be uncomfortable for some recruits to go OOS when the locals want them to stay in-state.

Some vets on the D line better be getting worried if these pieces start falling into place.

Outside of Frank Wilson, I think Brick Haley might be the 2nd best hire that we've had in awhile

Brick has been outstanding. I agree he's been one of the best hires for sure.

I can't wait for the bash

Mostly they do neither.

Florida as many implants so in many schools there isn't the same overwhelming pull to stay local like most other Southern states have... just my opinion

So if we reel in Rasco and Jernigan tomorrow, can we start calling them the Brick Wall?

Janzen Jackson committed in the coaches office the day after signing day.

There were no students present as I recall.

It's a little different in Fla than La. Here there's only really one school everyone likes. Jernigan's school is full of Florida, FSU, Miami, UCF fans. So either way he's going to make some people unhappy.

After reading that I will be surprised if he does not come to LSU.

It seems he really likes everything about LSU. He also likes the stability of our coaching staff.

I'd be thrilled beyond belief.
I wasnt trying to put a negative spin with my comment, just a realistic one.
I am 100% LSU ...100% of the time. Period!

I read the article as if Timmy was all FSU, and nothing in that article would have change my opinion, if FSU really was his decision.

It just makes LSU sound like a close #2, and I would expect a Dad to say nice things about a 2nd place team that showed him & his son a lot of positives after a great trip to the Bama-LSU game.

I hope I'm wrong.

As far as the announcing at school issue, I don't like it. He could have announced on ESPN, he's that highly ranked. Then again, just because he is announcing at the school doesn't mean they are FSU fans. They could be Gator fans, too, like him.

I am not holding my breath as far as Timmy Jernigan goes, but then again I wasn't holding my breath when Brick got Sam Montgomery and Ego.

Toliver was at HS but UT never offered and were never in his recruitment. Montgomery was at an ESPN studio

I wasn't calling you out at all. I usually just click reply on the last post, I normally don't even pay attention to who I'm responding to.

Maybe once we get Timmy and Rasco, Clowney can be the last brick to finish off the wall
