Awhile back, this poster who is/was at U High said Williams was leaning toward Bama – wonder if he has any more recent information?

I don't think I ever said he was a Bama lean, but they have a better shot than most people think because of Nick Saban/championships. As of late, I'd say he's liking the idea of going to LSU a lot more, so if anything he's an LSU lean.
Never talked to him about the child situation but I'd imagine that helps LSU. If yall can't tell I'm getting a lot less confident about Tim coming to Bama

Here's a good article on Williams from The Advocate this morning LINK
quote:
His grades have shown gradual improvement. Williams, who plans a criminal justice college major, is currently taking summer school classes at Christian Life Academy.
“Academically, I think he’s in an OK spot right now,” UHS head coach Chad Mahaffey said. “It’s not a slam dunk that he’ll be a qualifier, but it won’t take a miracle, either.
“There’s still some work that needs to be done in core classes, and he just took the ACT for the second time. And the good thing is he has the summer and all of next year to improve. He knows there’s work to be done.”

Since academics have been mentioned too, I will say that he isn't too bright, but he works pretty hard to make his grades. He was in tutoring everyday before school started so he could stay caught up
