How sad is it we can see highlights of a 2013 recruit's game faster than we can get even team highlights from our own team's game?

Cinicinatti bowtie isn't impressed

Came home for the weekend and went to this game. There are some absolute studs that play for U-High. Nick Brossette and Jarrod Franklin did very well too

Good job, Mr Williams. I saw in these clips him making plays unblocked, or beating a 170lb tackle. I was impressed by his speed. Guess they edit out the plays he takes off. I want to see him go against better competition.
But I'm sure you feel better. Hope we get him!

I'd say a 5A playoff team is good competition for a 2A team... and I'm not sure where you got the idea that these guys were really small. They were bigger than Uhigh.

Paleilei for East Ascension didn't play much. He bruised his sternum last week against Dutchtown. He won't have big numbers because of his O-Line this year, but he's gonna be top ten in the State his Sr year.

What??? Did you see the size pf U- High's o-line??? EA doesn't have a starter on the O-line over 6'. U-High's # 8, a LB is taller than Williams. You are so wrong, it's laughable.
EA's Number 61, the left tackle is 170lbs. The center today was 5'9 240, the right tackle was a QB two years ago.
Read the quote you quoted, it says 56 go against better competition, not the team.

Come watch UHS practice and you can see him and Brumfield square off. He does just fine against better competition. Alot easier to get bigger and stronger than it is to get faster.
The best OT I have seen Tim play against(other than Brumfield) was Calvary Baptist last year who was 6-5 280 and pretty athletic. Tim had his normal game.
Not sure about the "plays off" but he only played about 75% of the snaps on D today, and at one time the score was 42-0.
Did the Paleoli kid get hurt today? He didnt seem to be as featured in EA's offense as I would have thought.

Lots of big boys on EA sideline, you would think they could field more size. Probably should move 87 to tackle, he wasn't hurting for size.

I agree, bigger and stronger is easier than getting faster. That's why he's so highly recruited, lol. Guess I'm pissed that EA didn't seem to want to be there today, no enthusiasm and just lethargic. Think it's safe to say you need more than one practice to face U-High!!!
Yeah, Paleilei bruised his sternum last week.

They do have some size on the sidelines, unfortunately the biggest ones are the softest. 87 is one of the only ones that is consistent in catching the ball. QB's aren't real good either. Two years ago, we ran the veer, now this spread. My son had to play Center today
because our starting center sprained his ankle Saturday. He usually plays guard, so we were a little discombobulated. No excuses though, we're not real good right now. Disappointed in the lack of enthusiasm and energy.
This was my third time going to U-High, first two as a Coach, this time as a parent. 0-3, so maybe my view is jaded, lol. Sorry.

So, you had the same number of practices this week that we did? Granted, it didn't seem like the EA kids were very enthuised about being there, but don't blame Tim for getting a sack when he's unblocked. The first hand feedback I got was that the EA OL was pretty big, but lacked in technique. Any way you color it, a pretty impressive performance for a 2A school against a higher classification team that is supposed to be at least decent.

Jordan DePrang Saw him play two weeks ago. He is a big one. Think he's up to about 290 this year.
