I doubt he blatantly made that up. Programs the size of LSU or Bama have many many GA's. It certainly isn't outside the realm of possibility that some GA was spreading rumors to make himself sound in the know.

He nor the GA ever said that the GA was recruiting. He only said that he sat next to a Bama GA at a track meet.

Im not sure on the rules, but I would assume the GA just being there would be a violation.

Look, there is no need to argue about this. I'm sure that LC will officially sign with Bama and the supposed GA was just blowing smoke. But if we crucify everyone who posts information they heard offhand then we would have to shut the internet down.

Not really. There's a reason why the admins whack rumor threads without any source. If everyone just kept posting what they "heard" from their friend's uncle's college roommate's daughter's boyfriend, there would be no factual info on here.

Generally speaking the recruiting board is a lot better than the Tiger Rant or SEC Rant because there are a lot fewer "yes it is", "no it isn't" level arguments and very few flames tolerated (and yes it gets a lot junkier near signing day every year)
If you posts here typically amount to that level of information then that is why people will complain about your presence.
