The lyrics made me sick! There is no way that piece of trash should be associated with LSU. Would've loved to see the video with the original music. I bet it was a great video. Oh one more thing:

Some of the biggest songs out right now talk about selling or cooking dope, killing, making millions of dollars or sex. It's what people who like hip hop listen to.

Well there's your problem!!

Legal/team violations or not, it's a crime he didn't win the Heisman trophy that year. The same can be said with Ndamukong Suh the year before.

As much as I love TM, I cannot believe that video was posted on lesmiles.net! WTF? NO WAY les knows that horseshite if a song with those lyrics have his name on it. It's embarrassing for LSU. Yeah, I'm being "that guy", but watch it again and listen to the words.

+1. Couldnt believe the lyrics given the website. It wouldn't be shocking as a normal youtube video.

We've let some time pass and can reflect more objectively, I think. It is not an exaggeration to say that Mathieu, by an order of magnitude, is the most disruptive "offensive" minded defensive player in CFB history. I don't know how to quantify it, but from a subjective standpoint, he just knew where the ball was at all times, and had a good idea of where it was going. If he could make his body get there, he was going to have an opportunity to make a play on it.

Mother fricking THIS

Watching that video, complain about the music, but damn. What you just witnessed was something that has been seen once every never. His career was astounding. I've never seen anything like that at any level -- even high school, where your star athletes are giants amongst little people. He had his issues, but his play on the field speaks for itself. I just wish we had been able to enjoy one more year. I feel like his presence could have made a difference.

Too bad he wasn't as strong off the field as he was on.

I'll take Eric Reid over TM everyday of the week.
