I don't post anything about Auburn moron. You can ask Promintwon or Choctaw that if you don't believe me. But I did take reading tests back in elementary school. I can read when a thread titles something about Auburn or when it titles something about LSU.

Jesus, okay, let's try this again sweetie, I don't open them, I am tired of seeing them taking up space on the recruiting board, which focuses on LSU. Because a board can only hold so many threads before it goes onto other pages and when there are 5-8 threads on other schools recruiting, it possibly pushes more LSU relevant threads onto other pages. In addition, sweetie I didn't say you posted anything about Auburn, I said "morons like yourself" which implies you are a moron, which has been validated by your use of curse words. In the future, if you don't want to be called a moron don't call people idiots.

Best reply ever, I'm sorry for scaring you, it was not my intention. I was in a pissy mood this morning and that Auburn Recruiting Article thread really stuck in my crawl; even though, I didn't open it, the sight of the word "Auburn" pains me.

The moral of the story is I tried to change the world(Recruiting Board) and I failed and will just accept the world as it is. Fear me not my friend, I won't hug you at the bash, but I'll definitely toast a beer with you over our monster LSU class.

I really never post anything on this site, but i come to it everyday to read up on LSU. I like the fact someone put something up about ULL or La Tech. You never hear anything about them and it is something different to read about when there is nothing to report on LSU. As far as the Auburn post, I don't read them unless it is about possible violations. Which mostly is the case. Anyway I just want to say thank you guys for the insight you all post on here.

what about nicholls...how is there recruiting going this year? monster talent is my guess!

I think the issue raised here comes down to the basic philosophy of the Rant in general. In other words, how inclusive should the message boards be with regard to "stuff" that mainly concerns colleges and universities other than LSU.

The website makes clear that at least one of its goals involves " featuring LSU sports news & opinions." But obviously there is now effort (some would say a growing effort) to provide state and regional sports news and opinions as well. Sounds more than fair....even noble. Combine this with what should result in an increase in the number of visitors and members and it's a win-win for everyone. Right? Well, not necessarily.

Sometimes when an attempt is made to offer something to nearly everyone - it ends up appealing to hardly anyone. I hope that is not the case here. The Rant is a very unique place and lot of folks, whether LSU fans or not, realize this. Therefore, when the message boards began to offer up catagories like "SEC Rant" its like handing someone a small slice of pie that tastes very good. Well, after awhile they want a bigger slice, some different colors, etc. - human nature. But those who have been enjoying that same pie return to find the icing no longer appears overwhelmingly purple and gold. Then they discover that the ingredients are changing. Later on, they hear the baking process itself will become different.

It's difficult for me to imagine a civil and decent outcome for our pie lovers. Let's hope that's not the case with respect to this board. But I think it is a slippery slope at best.
