We might finish with the most points, but it won't be that great a class if we don't get more offensive linemen. That's where games are won.

Many yahoos will chime in saying that we have enough olinemen right now. But right now isn't what you recruit for. With olinemen, you recruit mostly for three seasons out. Will we have enough olinemen then?

This is the exact scenario playing out that occurred with Dline a couple of years ago. At the time no one seemed worried because it wasn't a position of need. We had Gilmore, Bain, Heron, Valentine and Lacouture from the previous year. We could afford to skip a year. Now look at us.

The dlinemen we recruit this year better be ready to play in 2017, because we'll have nothing else. And before you tell me how great they're going to be, look at that list above. That was a better group than this one, on paper. Only one of those guys was ready as a sophomore.

We took 5 OL last year and will take 3 this year, that's plenty.

And once again I defer to Alabama having a million top classes in a row. Have to watch out for them and Urban Meyer's OSU team making big moves to close out this class.

Bama could land Ben Davis and Lyndell Wilson coming up soon here. Keep an eye out for Mecole Hardman too.

UGA wont finish #1 but they are going to move way way up from #14 too.

We have a terrific class right now and big targets ahead.

But there are several other teams with a terrific class right now and big targets ahead.

Alabama has a realistic shot at several more five star players.

Dont see Ole Miss landing anyone else really big (at least in significant numbers)

Alabama, tOSU are teams to watch

UGa is nowhere close but could mop up a ton of top players to finish out.

Savage, Campbell, and (likely) Allen + possibly one more.

Given the last class, I'd say 3-4 is perfect.

I listed Ole Miss because it's not out of the realm of possibility that they land several other top-100 players.

According to the calculator, with Lawrence, Haskins, Fulton, White, and Christmas-Giles our total would be 3rd in country last year by a wide margin from 4th place, and better than our 2014 class. But that's only with 24 kids and we can take 27.

I don't know who all Bama is on and how many they can take, but if we get just those five above and they get Wilson, Davis, Hardman, and Brown (WR), they are still a distance behind us.

I don't see much Ole Miss can do at this point. I don't think they are in on enough 5 stars or enough room to catch us.

Bama's classes have been beyond ridiculous the past several years. Their closet margin was with USC and that's because USC got a ridiculous surge of 5 stars and very high 4 stars during the all American games and NSD. Bama doesn't sniff the type of class they've had previously.

I don't care if we are 1st or 5th in recruiting, that is just rankings. I look at this class and see monster players everywhere. I don't think we have one weak player. Caleb Roddy looks like he could play immediately and Coixe if you haven't seen his film, he is as good a WR as he is a DB. Savage is ranked low because he is underrated and needs to add muscle, but lets be honest I think every player in this class can be very strong and even the best in the SEC.

I think they are a long way from being done, they are at 18, and knowing them, they will sign 27

Who cares, 1st , 2nd, 3rd. If we get horses to fill our needs which includes QB's, LB's a special teams coach and and OC we will be solid.
