For me it's not so much that we didn't sign Surtain.
It's that the captain of the ship said we were saving 2 scholarships in case transfers come

Surtain was an absolute must get. I don’t support the mega-melt over it but it’s expected. The book on Ed O. was he was a closer. Today obviously sheds doubt on that evaluation.

This. And the Goodrich thing pisses me off. I wish they would have just told Foster and Goodrich that whoever committed first got the spot.
It just doesn't seem like they did a good job, at all, of mitigating risk with this class. Why did Eddie Smith never get even an offer?
There's just a lot of puzzling decisions that leave me with more doubts about this staff than I had yesterday.

That’s honestly the only thing we learned today. One player doesn’t make the team and you sure as hell cant rely on a kid to make a decision you expect him to make.
Recruiting rankings are such bullshite. They have nothing to do with what you may need. Being right outside the top 10 has our fans melting. It’s sad.

Not melting because I expected this type of shite to happen against LSU
It hasn’t gone LSU’s way generally speaking in years..sure we had some wins sprinkled in there but there’s been a negative cloud involving playcalling, penalties, recruiting, coaching rumors, mass exodus at halftime etc..hanging over our football program since the 2011 season
Seems like we’re getting shafted in more than one way and I’ve become numb to it
