What's the word on Eugene?

Micah has gotten most of his practice reps at running back. Towards the end of the season he got practice player of the week two consecutive times for his performance at RB.

so let's not recruit any high school kids anymore because we can't be sold on them

You're looking at these kids for POTENTIAL not guaranteed results at the collegiate level.

Damn, brah. You new at this?

If by 'retarded' you mean 'above your level of intelligence' then yes, it was retarded.

the OP was saying that we need Landon because Loston is unproven

that statement is retarded because they are so far different in age/class

not because of what you said

I thought it was common knowledge that Loston's cover and ball skills weren't very good.
He can hit though, that's for sure.

No, not at all.

If that were the case, then why aren't you people complaining that we haven't landed a Safety from FL, GA, or TX?

The main reason I (and many others) wanted Landon was because of the following:

1) Rated #1 La. Prospect

2) Rated #1 Safety nationally

3) Would add to the depth LSU has until he became a starter.

For some, not me - 4) Boost rankings on Rivals, etc.

No one knows how he's going to pan out in college. Hell, we have a former nation's best safety in Loston. He's not lighting it up. Landry is making more tackles than Loston on special teams.

LSU has beaten Bama 9 of 12 since 2000. Do you know how many 5* have been on their roster on both sides of the ball during that time. The last thing we needed Collins for was to beat Bama or be National Champions.

It's all good. We'll see Collins, Devall, Bell, Lacy, and Sylve at least once a year, dressed in "sellout".
