I have been thinking this for a couple weeks but didn't know where to post. I'm not going to say he regrets not coming to LSU but I really enjoy when each of the SEC players of the week lists come out.

This year CR has been awarded zero, zip, nada OL player of the week awards while LSU players have been rewarded with four. Ethan Pocic for weeks 2 & 6 and Vadal Alexander for weeks 3 & 7.

May have been more for LSU if the first game wasn't cancelled. Not saying he didn't make a bad "business" decision but I don't think choosing opposite of what he did would have been horrible either.

The debacle of the 4 North LA kids choosing Bama in one cycle lead to a good bit of turnover at LSU. If their decision in some way brought Grimes, it's a fair trade. Wish it could have taken place before and we didn't lose them, but I'll take the end result.

Hasn't he played hurt this year? He's a great talent and I wish he would've stayed in state but I love our O-line.
Geaux Tigers.

he has been injured...he is very good

he made the best choice for him going to bama. if he would have come here, he would be playing guard because of the upperclassmen we have had at tackle the last 2 years

this.

just because he doesn't win an sec award each week doesn't mean he isn't very good.

He's already won an SEC title, will be a 3 year starter at LT, and a probable 1st round draft pick. He made a good decision for himself and LSU made good decisions to improve their recruiting. I hold nothing against him personally, although I hope he doesn't see the college football playoffs again in his career.

This is a really good way to look at it.

It's a big miss.

But major upgrade at the coaching position.

He got abused by Garrett, but again he's hurt. I think Hawkins and Collins makes up for the loss.

His recruitment shook up the LSU staff and lit a fire under them. For that hes cool with me.

the oline recruiting this past year was absolutely incredible. makes up for it tremendously.

he's been bad this season and holding really bad from being beat.. i understand now he is hurt, but still it's not the massive loss we once felt. the more you look at that class the more you see we did really well for ourselves and it all worked out.

People get mad at me when I say I'd be willing to give of Feleippe Franks to get rid of Peveto.... but I'm telling ya, I would.

agree

10-13 I loved watching our special teams because I knew we could always bust a big play

14-15 I hate watching our special teams because I know we can always give up a big play

We just need to beat Bama the next two years and win a national championship or two. And have more linemen go higher in the draft. That'll put things in perspective and maybe coming to LSU will be a better business decision to others in the future. Can't fault a guy for thinking the grass is greener when it has been. Just win and things will work themselves out.

You are out of your marble mind. Franks is similar to a mobile Brad Kaaya who is tearing it up in Miami. If Kaaya had better talent around him, he would get more mention.

He completed 58.5% of his passes for 3185 yards at 8.5 ypa with 26 TDs and 12 ints as a true freshman. He is completing 61.2% of his passes, has 1796 yards at 8.2 ypa with 10 TDs and 1 int as a sophomore. That's after losing his top 3 receiving options from last year.

Franks is going to light it up here after Harris leaves.

I'd rather find an administrative role for Peveto before losing Franks. However, I don't think he would switch schools just because Peveto was let go.
