I'm thinking Erick Fowler sticks with LSU.

Their coaches told him once he sees them play they know he'll switch. Lol.

They cant even offer him playing time more than we can. There is 0 reason for him to flip other than location.

It's crazy to hear all of these recruits mention Texas and that they love what Charlie Strong is doing with the program, lol! Kicking his good players off of the team and getting your arse kicked on a weekly basis.

Seems like they are headed in the right direction

ND ran 75 plays last night and had a whopping 3 tackles, 0 sacks from his starting DE spot

Karma is a wonderful thing

I use to think Strong was a great coach and a good hire for Texas...boy was I wrong. Maybe it's not coaching but that place it appears to be a black hole regardless who's there.

Texas's problems have been oline and dline and until that changes they will suck. You just cant go 8 or 9 years in a row with no oline drafted into the nfl. Especially at a place like Texas. Both lines have sucked for years. Last night they showed the line troubles have not gotten any better this year.

Texas has the same problem that LSU had last year with QB. Heard is the more talented guy, and probably the better option, but he's behind in the playbook (RS Freshman) compared to Swoopes (Junior). Swoopes just offers so little when it comes to game plan implementation. He does a lot of things ok, but he's not really great at anything. Heard needs to be given more snaps if Texas wants to win. Watching their spring game last year highlighted that. Heard is an offensive spark plug. They also need time to develop an OLine worth a crap. They have not been getting the OLine talent they use to when they were really competitive. From the little I watched of that game yesterday, their defense wasnt terrible, but they were on the field a whole lot, and with little depth, they wore out quickly. Texas is a shell of its former self in regards to overall talent level and depth.

Their next game vs Rice could be interesting.

Texas' strength and conditioning has been terrible for about a decade now. The entire culture of the program was soft. I expected Charlie Strong to make fixing that priority one, but it doesn't look like much has changed at Texas. Their OL and DL were pushed around by Arkansas in their bowl game, and Notre Dame pushed them around yesterday. They will not be winning too many games against physical opponents, but playing in the Big XII they won't see many teams that play physical football.

USC will give ND the beatdown it deserves. USC is LSU with a more experienced QB.
