Vincent Taylor's family car broke down after leaving Lubbock. They're going to try and re-schedule the visit and get to Texas soon.

You guys want to play hardball? Fine.

LSU shall release the rights to acquire DeSean Smith exclusively to Texas A&M provided that LSU receives ____________.

That might as well be a blank check, boys. I suggest you use it wisely.

Recruitocosm @Recruitocosm
Orangebloods.com is reporting that James White is not attending JD1 as well. Wow, all bad news so far for Texas.

Recruitocosm @Recruitocosm
Inside Texas Blake Munroe spoke with White moments ago and he said, "I'm going to try to make it to the second one. It's a maybe right now."

We wanted to get him in for our J-D but he couldn't make it.

Derrick Griffin because we need a tall receiver.

Derrick Griffin, cash considerations and a player to be named later.

Sounds like a major league baseball trade

I'm going to make this very concise and unambiguous:

You all can go to hell, Griffin is coming here (assuming he learns to read and write).

I will entertain offers involving Lacouture and/or Gibson. However, if we're talking a multiple player transfer here, I may be forced to require that you release Darian Claiborne as well.

It's a tough racket, gents.

It would be great if we can make trades like this for OOS QB's and LB's on down years. LA produces plenty of linemen, receivers, and defensive backs that other teams covet.

The UT fans are excited that their not getting their whole class on a JD. But they do want Swoopes and RSJ no updates on then yet.

I only want Griffin in exchange for Smith or Claiborne. Golden is a good looking prospect but I have a feeling the staff has their sights set on some pretty talented DT's.

That's intriguing, Wolverine. You're thinking outside and the box and I love you or it.

Considering that Sumlin told Kenny Hill he's our number 1 QB, I'd almost seriously consider it.

Then again, Sumlin doesn't love TEs like Sherm does. It makes the value received much less when considering what is forgone.

Next.

I see why their fans would be excited to not lock up a whole class at junior day but I also see this as a negative because Texas who isn't used to fighting for most in state talent, will really have to start getting ready to battle. What this weekend shows me so far is that a little bit of luster has worn off of the horns in the eyes of Texas high schoolers.

Lsu needs to go in to Texas now harder than ever. I know that we have been going at Texas pretty good so far. But I'm talking full on press. I can see us having our best year in Texas ever this year. It would only help us in the future if we can lay groundwork in several areas in Texas for recruiting.

Yeah Bee from what I am reading the new staff is waiting longer to offer kids to evaluate the talent instead of just throwing offers to the "eye pleasing" kids. Word is Vincent Taylor is an LSU-ATM battle TFWIW.

That state is ripe for the picking. LSU needs to pillage that place this year.
