Had dinner w/him and his coach the other night. Great kid, really bright, and has a leadership mentality and effusive personality. I told him he smiles like Magic Johnson and he said he's been told that before. He's currently 6' 3", 243, and runs like a deer.

He also has a younger teammate who's a great DB who has been offered by LSU.

Hopefully, we'll get a Virginia boy in the P & G this year and also down the road...

Right now, just about every sign is pointing towards Florida State, but there's a long way to do yet.

We've beaten them more than we've lost in head to heads recruiting over the past few years. They just got us last year. We will get them again for Surtain this year. Bama is our only true thorn because they come inside the state. No one else compares.

Who is his primary recruiter?

ETA: his Primary recruiter is Dave Aranda and his secondary recruiter is Corey Raymond.

I'd say we have a strong chance to pull him in. Florida State is tough to beat though, they landed two that the staff was working hard for last year.

I would love to create that pipeline to VA. Some very good football played there every year.

Yeah that whole VA and Carolina area along with GA and FL. If we can do that in the coming years, pull 8 of the top 10 in LA then keep pulling guys from TX, LSU would be over flowing with talent. Either that or create a Cali pipeline. Hell recruit all those areas every year and we'll be successful at some point. GT

Cali pipeline is damn near impossible. Have you even been to USC or UCLA? It's beautiful.

He's pretty wide open right now. Top 5 of LSU, FSU, Ohio State, Clemson & Bama. He can't wait to see the allure of Tiger Stadium and told me LSU was always his fav team growing up. Loves the way they play D...

I've been to LA. and yes it is, the weather is also damn near perfect. Was like working in the AC. Palm trees and cool weather sunshine but they can't get them all. LSU could try for the ones going to Washington, Cal, Stanford, Oregon, Ect. I'm aware it's probably expensive and tough but I believe it's worth it especially with our ties there now, with Ed O and Robinson. At least try for DL, LBs, RBs, OL, and QBs especially with ties. Which looks like we are but I agree that whole Carolina area is extremely talent rich. One big time OT, QB, DL, LB, or DE from there might be what we need that year to put us over the top for a title and that would make it all worth every second.

UCLA is beautiful.

USC is in the middle of a ghetto.
