He wasn't the best athlete on the field when they played Stanislaus!

Good post! Thats why I keep bumping this thread with stats. This kid is a fricking stud. He runs and is a physical back like Buga. I am comparing this kid to LF7. He is that dominating.

I agree. Another kid that looks like a man amongst boys at his level of competition. He is quickly approaching to become the next big thing that comes out of LA.

So watched this kid tonight.

Look, I get the stats are ridiculous....with that said, I left tonight's game vs. Sulphur with meh, he's alright. His stat line will be high because he broke a long run in the 4th quarter. Sulphur missed tackles all night because, well, that's what they do. They've done it the entire year. Other than that, I thought he lacked quickness in hitting any holes. Hesitated ALOT. Top end speed wasn't exactly elite.

Don't get me wrong, he was a good looking player, but I really wouldn't see him getting much playing time as a true freshman...I'll leave it at that.

He maybe it was an off night.

Sometimes, racking up high school stats is just that. I mean the kid looks alright, but the guy comparing him to Leonard Fournette is out of his f**king mind!

So it was 250?

Fantastic numbers.

All I'm saying is that the way he hit holes. His top end speed.

All I was watching was the way he ran the ball. Sulphurs defense is swiss cheese, btw.

Yeah, last night was the first time I read this thread. I knew he was being recruited by a lot of schools. I honestly left thinking he could be a solid player, but Fournette?

That's laughable. Borderline preposterous.

he has 1,400yds and 24 TDs in 6 games. That's a little better than alright.

the kid will have offers from just about every SEC school by the time his JR year is up. But yea, he's just alright

249 on 34 carries....but you left with a meh attitude. You are the one laughable. Def are preparing for this kid and he is still piling up the stats. I will still stick to my LF7 comparison. Kid is beastly. Btw....wtf game were you watching last night?

Prom, your observation is fair...as far as hesitating to hit the hole, it appears he is taught to do that due to BM's blocking scheme. Last year he was patient enough in setting up his blocks; Bruce as made a conscious effort to do so...Watching him against elite area teams like, Karr, Curtis and St. Aug, he's not Fornette but his certainly special...regarding top end speed, he hasn't been caught from behind once he reaches the second level..

Thats fine, I get that. So I have to pay attention to his stats to make a visual observation on him?

How many kids in high school put up ridiculous numbers and never even get offers from anyone?

I'm not saying he's terrible nor am I saying that he's not any good.
