Kid is a beast. The complete package. Power and speed. After seeing him play a number of times, the kid is shiftier than LF with the power. A special special talent. Gonna be a fight to get him. His brother Tre is a D1 recruit as well and should be a package deal. With that being said, Tre is no Lanard....he is way more talented than Lanard and will get a fair amount of D1 offers as well. Both are wide open

You have to understand the competition they were playing. Is this kid good yes, but the biggest kid on the team they were playing probably was about 5'9 180 pounds.

When he is done at BM, I will disagree with you. Will be a 5 star and will be damn close to LF in talent. Kid is only a junior. Seeing him as a soph will be vastly different from the next 2 years. Special talent.

Not even close. LF was bigger and faster than him as a freshman in high school. And he really is a senior. Is about to be what 18 soon if not mistaken

He failed 8th Grade, so he probably will be 18 soon. I thought I read somewhere that since he failed 8th Grade that he would not be eligible to play his Senior year.

BM faxed in some paperwork to make him eligible for his senior year. LHSSA must be getting soft or sympathetic these days bc that kid from Covington was given the blues

Reason why he has another year is because he actually failed and wasn't held back... there's a difference.

WTF happened to them? They used to have a few prospects. IIRC Jason Peterman was from there.

Due to medical issues. Don't make it seam like the kid is a dumbass, he isn't.

Wrong on all accounts. He did not attend 8th grade bc he was basically homeless. Thats when Pat Swilling took him in. BM worked on the case for 3 years to get him that year.

Pretty sad commentary to criticize a kid that has turned his life around, and to criticize a man who took him in. Not everything is a sinister plan to make the playing field uneven.

Still a good team for MS football standards, but they get by on their scheme and not athletes. I might be able to count on one hand the amount of African Americans that have played there the last 5 years.

Since Bruce had to repeat the eighth grade, he's been ruled athletically ineligible for his senior year. The Swillings insist that happened because Bruce missed two months of school while hospitalized for health issues, not to gain any athletic advantage.

Stephen Peterman, played on the 2003 NC team, drafted by the Cowboys, played with the Lions.

Hurricane Katrina had a huge impact on Saint Stanislaus and its surrounding neighborhood. Katrina destroyed many buildings, including the first floor and dormitories of Saint Stanislaus.[2] The school was closed for two months. Saint Stanislaus, along with its next door neighbor Our Lady Academy, an all-girl Biloxi dioscean Catholic school, resumed classes together on November 1, 2005 and operated jointly for the remainder of the 2005-2006 school year. Both schools suffered damage in Hurricane Katrina with Our Lady Academy being forced to knock down one of its buildings. In August 2006, Our Lady Academy resumed operations on its own campus, sharing some classes with Saint Stanislaus as it had done prior to Hurricane Katrina. Since 2005, Saint Stanislaus has renovated most of its campus buildings including its famous 1,000 foot fishing pier (2010), a new band hall (2007), a new cafeteria (2010), remodeled gym (2006), remodeled rec halls, classrooms and offices (2014), remodeled dormitory (2014 and in progress), and remodeled baseball and football fields (2013 & 2014).
