I will be watching this, because if he commits to USC one would think that would help us with Tahaan Goodman.

From what I can gather, he appears to be all USC. But he recently visited Michigan too.

I know this is off topic but what is going on with Priest Willis? I know Goodman and Willis have talked about going to the same school and I've heard Willis really likes LSU and it is between us and USC

FWIW someone recently said (not sure who or where the info was gathered) that they would like to play together, but when it came down to it, they would do what is best for them individually.

USC might be loading up but they seem to always choke in a game they should win. I would like to see how their defense does this year down the stretch. Last year I remember them doing all they could to hold their lead against Oregon because their defense was completely worn down in the 4th.

I agree. They can load up all they want. They will still choke it away.

He went out on a limb there. I could tell you that without calling anyone. Everyone knows he's going to USC and have for a long time. Not knocking the guy at all, just saying any of us could've figured this one out by reading.
Agree USC gets Cravens and Redfield. That leaves 1 CB and 1 S for USC from what I've gathered. They're pushing Hargreaves and McQuay from FL along with Willis. Goodman is lower than people think. There may be a couple of other guys from CA ahead of Goodman on their board. Not to mention the other OOS kids they're after.
Question is, do we fill our spots at DB before Goodman is ready to commit? Jefferson and Robinson are 2 I expect in the class this summer and we may push another FL kid before all is said and done. All on the staff and what they feel is best.

I'm with you. I don't want to sound like a retard but I don't know if Goodman has the turn and run ability that LSU dbs normally have. LSU plays very little zone. Their safetys are often in 0 coverage with a wideout.
