Jesus Christ dude, was today your first day ever on Tigerdroppings?

Even before the 5 for 5 shite made recruiting popular here, the bashing went on.. what makes you think it'll change now? This board hasn't really been policed heavily for stuff like that in the past, so I doubt it ever changes

***not saying I don't agree with you though

I do not like when they commit then renage this is a sign of weakness. I do not like when they get on national tv another sign of me,me,me. It is all about me

I committed to Jon the navy then committed to go to Vietnam I never thought about decommiting

It goes both ways. The prospects that milk every opportunity to get attention and make a spectacle out of every commitment and decommitment should expect to get some negative attention too. That's just the way it works. Personally, I don't bash recruits regardless, but I also think you reap what you sow.

Who is the op talking about? You may be speaking in generalities, but your post made he think you were agreeing with the OP that Chase was being bashed.

Any kid who is from Louisiana and chooses another SEC school I will dislike for the rest of their career. I don't have to respect their choice. I don't have to pull for them. They are a traitor because they turned down the best state and best school in the country. If you don't believe that you are not a supporter of LSU

Do you do this before OR after they actually sign their LOI with the other SEC school?

Someone quote the posts in the Chase thread that are so negative

I saw last night where someone called him a "pussy". I don't think the moron was calling the OP that.

Really?

The last time I can remember this happening I was pretty damn happy for a week. I loved going to the Oklahoma board and seeing them disparage the LSU program. All over LSU flipping the #1 rated inside linebacker - Jacob Phillips.

Some kids handle their recruitment in a low key manner and act classy and respectful, yet still get scorned on this board. Maybe a small segment might eventually flip to LSU. Whether negative comments on this board hurt those chances is n unknown factor. It can be said with certainty negative comments will not help . So don't do it.

If it counts for nothing why do you have to say it, it counts for more when it is about your own life and its the recruits life we are talking about !

LSU will land in the top five no matter who ends up picking the Tigers.

Highly doubtful.

These coaches know what they are doing, support them and let them do their job.

How do you know this? Its one thing being a good field recruiter, its an entirely different ball game being "The Closer". Supporting them in this site, isnt going to change a thing. Only Time will tell.

Too many on here are blindly guessing at how well this program will progress.

Lets wait and see what happens before we appoint Orgeron as the next great college football coach.

He hasnt done anything yet.

I see very few posts shitting on recruits outright. Mostly just posts saying basically "if you ain't with us, you're against us.." that's not that bad bro

Maybe we should praise a kid for picking another school. Then he will change his decision.

If they choose another school then more power to them.
When they start trashing the school, staff or other commited recruits then all bets are off.

Be gracious or say nothing at all. There is no advantage in making negative comments. Those comments do not help in possibly getting him to flip back before signing day.

What if he decides to transfer at some point? Why would he consider LSU if the fan base showered him with negative omments?
