Yeah, Miles losing one of his biggest defenders over the past 6 years. . .

. . .good sign for LSU right there.

Addition by subtraction.

Miles is losing you over one game and being unable to:

1. Recruit against mediocre tail
2. Predict that Gunner Kiel's mom would have a breakdown
3. Predict that Torshiro Davis would completely lie to them?

I fault Miles for a bad coaching performance in the BCS title game. And I do think they mismanaged the Patrick Miller situation (although, even there, we don't know the full story. Maybe Miller was fine with it, them changed his mind and got all pissy).

Don't be that fickle fan.

Miles lost you is all I needed to see.

So between the BCSCG and today he lost you right? What else am I missing?

Based on what?? Do y'all really think Mett's gonna be one and done with guys like Barkley, Murray, Jones from OU coming out next draft? What makes people assume Mett is one and done? It ain't like we're gonna come out throwing the ball all over the place with him putting up gaudy numbers, while guys like Hilliard, Ford, Ware, Blue, Magee, and Hill rot on the pine. It's really silly...a completely uneducated opinion.

You're right.

The BCSCG is the only negative thing to happen to LSU in the last 30 days.

Roaad, I know you remember losing Darrington Sentimore to Alabama. Dude signed with Tennessee today after a stint with MGCCC. He was no less hyped than Collins. There are no sure things in this game.

Does Miles get no credit for taking a top 3 player from the state of Alabama? The best OL in the state of GA?

And I'm willing to bet there's guys in this class that make losing Collins go away. I bet if TM7 and Collins were in the same class, and we landed TM7 but lost Collins, people would be overreacting. Same if it was Mo. But pay attention to the known fact that, at least on the defensive side of the ball, this staff has an eye for what they want, and knows how to coach em up.

You need a break man...you're supposed to be one of the level headed ones.

Did I say it was the only thing? Did I not say between then and today? And I'm the one that can't read

Bottom line, if you got lost after the season we just had, don't let the door hit you.

Dude.

Sentimore was nowhere near Collns.

He was hyped about as much as, say Lorenzo Phillips.

He was the 7th rated player in the state.

You keep referring to the game as the source.

The game is a factor, yes. So is losing Kiel, Miller, Davis, Collins, et al. We didn't even get our limit in recruits.

You have former players taking shots at the program and/or coaches.

The perception of the program is not good right now.

Aside from bama, which programs currently have a better perception?

Look at where top talent is going. Teams that are pathetic on the field are nabbing kids, because we are perceived as dysfunctional.

LSU sure did dissappoint in the MNC game. If you factor the degree of dissappointment from that one game, then he was kinda right.

recruiting classes don't generally affect "next year".

We are stacked next year.

The problem comes the 2 years after that, when we are breaking in a whole new DL, because we were unable to fill needs.
