quote:

“I like the coaching staff a lot and how they try to get the ball to the wide receivers,” said Noil. “I know they don’t always make the plays because things happen and that’s how it is with football. But, I can see if I was in that offense I would get chances to make plays.”

quote:

“I’ll be up at the LSU-South Carolina game,” said the 2014 standout receiver. “Both schools have offered and I’m ready to see them go toe to toe. I know I’ll be keeping a close eye on their receivers and how they compete.”

quote:

“I’m looking at schools to see who is making plays and who is out there competing,” said Noil. “I’ve seen like Alabama, LSU, Florida, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tulane, Nebraska, Ohio State, and several others so far this year. I watch a lot of football because I want to see for myself what all of these coaches tell me about what they do.

Good to see his stance sort of change. In a video interview on Rivals not too long ago, he was saying he wants to go somewhere where he's the only WR they are looking at in the class. Probably just a young kid not knowing the process of recruiting.

Yes. Speedy is a exciting player to watch, if you leave and go to the concession stand to get refreshments all you would here is Speedy Noil Touchdown again if you blink you might miss something. Special,Special kid. Enjoy the process Speedy but keep it in the Boot, and if your reading this tell Gerald Willlis too.

I think this guy could be a better version of skyler green. With him and brazil getting the ball on offense (if we can find a way to get it to them) would be a headache for opposing defenses.

Can he catch football?

If so, we need him.

From what I remember reading after the July LSU camp, he worked out at WR and looked good, ran the forty in the 4.4 range, etc.

So now we agree that a WR does not have to be 6'3" to help us! Welcome aboard Mr. Noil!

basically the same size as the other guys we have at the moment… but once Leslie gets here, he'll be the tall receiver we need, and DeSean Smith, i could see them having him running in motion out of the TE spot, so he's another big "receiver" on the field...

It doesn't really matter what size the guys we have at the moment are because at most they will only cross over by one year.

Noil could come in as a true slot guy with Dupre (outside guy), Sims (outside guy), Quinn (multiple), and Washington (TE).

You couldn't design a better pass catching class than what is available in LA in '14. They're all different, and all extremely talented.

I agree with all that. size is being overstated on the rant. look at philadelphia eagles with maclin and jackson. small guys are ok especially if they have a unique skill set. Noil for sure has a unique skill set.

Got to agree with ProjectP on that one, those guys seem like they would be the perfect compliment to each other (assuming we can land them all!) and contribute signficantly to our passing game!

thats right and think of both 2013 qb commits redshirt and be in same class as those guys. add in LF at rb and washington at te, with robinson, clapp and brumfield at ol and this could be an EPIC offensive group. most offensive talent in the les miles era.
