Something just isn't right

The Randle family has been classy and reasonable throughout the whole process. Now Randle's dad is on the radio making a big deal about, what seems to be, a misunderstanding. Something doesn't add up. Either this is an excuse to get RR out of Louisiana or this is just an attempt to generate more hype around his recruitment.
Bottom line is that IF Randle really wants to go to LSU then this sort of thing would not derail that. The Randle family would sit down with Miles and discuss the situation. Either he doesn't really want to go to LSU or he will sign with them tomorrow. This wouldn't change anything.

Let's just hope this is all NSD hype to increase the drama, since everyone has assumed he's LSU bound for a few weeks now.

Stop. If he were coming to LSU, he would of said so a while back. He's simply using Benton as an excuse to go where he had intended to go all along.

Was it about RR and Benton competing for the same spot? Well yeah, that is a fact.
Whether you are a 1 star or 5 star you have to compete to get on the field...I hope OU hasn't made such empty promises.. That would be Naive...and good as Randle is, you have to compete, learn the plays, work etc... Stil their are 3 or 4 WR on the feild at the same time at LSU.. Playing time or staring position should not be too much of a concern as talented as they both are...
The rumors are getting ridiculous and putting me in a bad mood...

Maybe the Randles were given a "Rhett Bomar" from OU ,since the mill is closing in Bastrop. I won't lose any sleep from this because i'll have visions of Joe McKnight fumbling through my dreams, searching for that elusive job at ESPN with his mass com degree. LOL, I feel retarded for even caring one iota.

I would have to agree with this. This is some BS. We really botched this recruitment. An instate player that had us as his leader last year does not sign? 2 out of 3 years this has happened. JM was explainable because John Curtis isn't exactly pro-LSU. If we lose Randle, it would be a very disappointing finish to an otherwise great recruiting year. Debose, randle, pratt. Way to close tigers!
