He needs a life lesson. you don't openly criticize your boss. plain and simple.
I think he is probably just a kid frustrated that a coach he liked as a person was fired and this is not an indication of any attitude problems. College is a time to learn lessons that help you in adulthood. This should be one of them.
Edit: I dont think he deserevs to be suspended, just sat down and talked to about smart decisions vs dumb decisions.
