So does the Delpit commitment help with recruiting Moses?

With both playing at IMG, does it it have any significant bearing on Moses' choice? Not sure if it's been discussed. Obviously every little angle helps.

No. Moses will go where he wants. Too good of a player to let another player sway him in a direction. Lets just hope the team he chooses is the fighting tigers.

It never hurts to have players already committed to us in an uncommitted player's ear. Hopefully, Delpit and Ausbon are mighty persuasive.

I would say no. Dylan will make the best choice for himself.

Idk about Moses, but it may help with Marvin Wilson. From an article I read in the past, they are pretty good friends.

Delpit has been committed

Moses seems like the type of guy to go against the grain and commit to a school that nobody expects him to just to be different... If anything, as crazy as it sounds, I think it's POSSIBLE that everyone around him pulling the trigger for LSU may actually sway him to commit elsewhere

And a huge % of that choice will be who is committed to that school as well. So yes, every high end recruit helps.

IMG stands for I Must Go to LSU

At the end of the day, I think it will come down to how well our team plays this season, coupled with how dominant and nasty our defense is under Dave Aranda. That will have more weight on a recruit's decision than anything else IMO. Lucky for us, I think we have a team full of veteran players as well as talented newcomers playing with a chip on their shoulders. Should make for an exciting highlight reel season.

I think it's more likely the other way around.
The only other recruit I ever heard about as young as Moses was Fournette.
There is nothing about the way things have played out w Fournette at LSU that would lead me to believe Moses would seek an alternate route.
The handling of Moses by a parent who knew a thing or two about excelling in college football has left no stones unturned. It has been very methodical.
He may very well end up somewhere else, but given that there are some very real connections to current staff and administration, I will be very surprised if Dylan doesn't follow Fournette into Tiger Lore.

I agree. Look at Fournette's success on and off the field. Unless Dylan is just flat out wanting to leave the state ala Smith, he will be at LSU.

Let's not kid ourselves, Moses already knows where he is going.
Posted on 7/10/16 at 2:21 pm to BayouCowboy
No... But I really think Moses coming to LSU has helped us get fellow IMG teammates Delpit and Ausbon.

So you asked a question and then answered it yourself in your own post. Nice.

I don't think building friendships with other kids that are from different parts hurts. I think Delpit helps more rig Wilson than Moses. But you never know.
Moses is getting so much exposure he will have buddies at what ever college he chooses. I think this will be system coaching exposure the whole nine.

I'm pretty sure Moses was in the ear of Delpit.

Completely disagree with pretty much everything you said.

Actually I didn't. I asked if people thought it would make a "significant" difference and I stated that every little bit helps.
