You know you have to go out of state to recruit when your state's #1 is 465th in the country

He came to Ohio State’s camp 10 days later and ran 4.45 and 4.49 in the 40-yard dash and threw it well enough to earn offers from Bowling Green and Ohio who had coaches working the camp.

Soooo... he ran 4.45 @ Ohio state, yet no Ohio state offer? Hmmm? Not very Urban like

Dude has like 7 highly ranked 4 star quarterbacks on the roster. It is insane

I noticed the kids been getting lots of offers lately, some from ACC schools.

Someone will get a really good college program QB.

I love this kids film but I hope he comes down and camps with us. I am concerned about competition and he does seem like the real deal but that was slow football. I mean some of his passes were late.

I do think if he played in Texas or Florida or GA he would be a much higher ranked prospect.

You might want to edit your recruiting wish list.

A 3 star Kansas quarterback vs Kansas high school football talent. No thanks. Give me a 2 star Louisiana QB over him.

Just like Al Bundy... He once scored 4 Touchdowns

Norton KS btw (being serious) smalllllll town like probably just a couple of thousand

Which plays small schools, very likely the only Radar he is on, is Kstate, Butler CC, or Hutch CC Too hard to grade him against real opponents

Not saying he couldn't be anything special, just saying unlikely

Good point, Roger. Just the type of QB that Bill Snyder typically loves, but he apparently turned down their offer and picked Tulsa initially. Perhaps he was nervous about how long Snyder would be at KSU since he's 77 and recovering from cancer treatments.

But it also seems that he's not interested in KU either. Could be that a kid from such a small town wants to get out and see what the world has to offer, rather than stay at home in Kansas. Couldn't blame him if he did.

Good article on him linked below - his HS has 151 students total!
