SIAP: Whats the deal with Savion's dramatic drop in rankings?

I don't understand he had another good year at IMG, how in the hell do they come to the conclusions is it one human or a bunch of people and they come to averages>?? serious question because that shite baffles me

Got beat in coverage a few times at Under Armour game and didn't really standout in practice. I think he belongs at the safety position where he can make plays. He has some struggles in man to man coverage. Excellent blitzer and playmaker tho. We will find out how good he is this spring

this. Didn't play the recruiting game at all. You care about stars, you gotta play the game. Period. Guice learned that lesson the hard way.
you want to stay at the top of rankings...flirt with alabama, texas, and osu.
he also had some academic issues that kept him in the doghouse a few weeks.

Not an elite man corner imo. Better fit in a zone scheme from what I saw on film.

Mainly this, but also the fact that he is probably a 4 star corner, but would be an elite 5 star Nickelback/strong safety playmaker as that is more his game. Couple that in with how 247 is trying to keep LSU and OSU so close for $$ sake and well there is your answer

Exactly...he wasn't a BAMA recruit. They usually jump up one star this time late December early January.

Hence, that is what I figured motivated Dylan Moses to decommit. If he wants to be the #1 guy he will have to play that system game until his NSD.

I love when LSU gets rock solid commits from these true players who DGAF about the TMZ-like pageantry of the stars going up or down.

Yep, but watching Guice this year, dude is a legit 5 star, and will be one of the best RB in LSU history, and you can take that to the bank.

I second this statement. I love watching him just as much as I do LF but for a completely different reason. I love watching LF just run defenders over. Guice can move so quick he just moves out of the way and makes defenders look completely stupid. Guice is going to be something special.
