He’s just a kid, but his message makes no sense...Decommits then says he wants to focus on himself and his team. That’s the opposite of what will happen now that he’s back on the market

Disappointing to say the least. This kid is going to be a good one, I hope he reconsiders this decision and recommits to LSU sometime this year.
If he doesn't, then we move on to another kid who will be just as good or possibly better.

I have been following recruiting a long time and it has changed a lot. If you don't want the emotional ups and downs, just read about the class after it is signed. If you want to follow recruiting year round, you will have to ride the roller coaster. Committed, offered are words written in pencil.

Yep. Literally exactly what Jaquelin Roy did if I remember correctly. These Louisiana recruits commit early, decommit when they get national attention, but normally return home in the end
