Kingsbury was a great hire for TTech. Hope Trey chooses the home team in the end.

Trey is from Lake Charles, LA. I currently live in Lake Charles. Lubbock won't cure anything.

It matters to the recruit how many guys get taken at his position the year before

well if we have to "worry" about Tech and Clemson for Quinn, Even though I already am confident he is coming here, this is icing on the cake

Nothing wrong with Texas Tech, especially for a receiver. Michael Crabtree anyone?

Would you like to do a quick run down of drafted NFL WRs from each school since 2000?

Because no matter how talented you are, if there's a lot of experienced good guys when you get there, chances are you aren't jumping them right off the bat. Even great players have to wait their turn, if you want proof, look at all the DL guys here at LSU who didn't really get a lot of playing time till their 3rd year.

If we can get Quinn, Noil, and especially Dupre, I'll be a happy person

Obviously I know LSU is on a totally different level than Texas Tech. LSU puts out quality receivers but at Texas Tech he would get more targets. Just saying I would never laugh at someone, especially a receiver, for considering Texas Tech

Whoa. I simply named a standout receiver to give them legitimacy. Never did I say Texas tech puts out more or better receivers

Kudos for "nailing my arse"? So you think I should be "nailed" for mentioning Michael Crabtree as a top receiver? You're acting like I said "Michael Crabtree alone makes Texas Tech's receiver pedigree superior than LSU's". No. Of course I would never say that. If I did say anything remotely close to that then my arse should be thoroughly ripped to shreds. Though they have put out Crabtree and Wes Welker, that doesn't make their program better in any way
