There's literally 0% chance Shea Patterson signs with LSU. If I were Les, I wouldn't even invite Shea to Boys From The Boot.

Well, better now than later. He's a great kid as well as a gifted athlete but I'm confident with the haul we'll reel in next year LSU is positioned to be fine regardless. I wish every success except of course, when facing LSU.

Baseball! Only Les can put himself, the team and the school in this possible scenario again and again and again.

How about we not quit and continue to recruit the guy until he makes his decision. A bunch of babies in this thread.

I don't think anyone in this thread is responsible for his recruitment so it'll be ok darryl

What are odds of getting Zach Lee to come back, he seems to be toiling around in the minors still.

Keep the pressure on him, make sure he sees he's a two-year starter at the very least, followed by the NFL. MLB is falling far behind the NFL and that mindset is extremely present in young adults. If he feels good about his situation with LSU, the promise of the NFL is way better than the opportunity to go play farm-league baseball in front of 500 fans for 6 years.

Doesn't Bradley Dale Peveto scout the Shreveport area? Typical

LSU will stay on him, but if Ole Miss hires the brother, it's pretty much a forgone conclusion. Hopefully we can get another 4-5 star QB in the class along with Franks.

This has nothing to do with not recruiting him good enough.

Plenty of people blasted Les for not turning his favors to Patterson. They blasted Les for sticking with Franks..but did it ever occur to you people that Les and company KNEW the inevitable was that Shea couldn't stay on as a grad assistant for more than 2 years? His 2 years would have expired before Shea even stepped foot on a college campus.

This is proof that Les knows what the hell he is doing..regardless of how you feel about him.

Winner winner. With the Patterson brothers leaving now, it gives us time to secure Franks and still pursue Kelly. I can dig it.

I think it is a positive if it happens early. Go after another pro-style qb. LSU will be ok.
