It's a pay article but Scout is predicting that we lose Maea T even though Sione is enrolled. I guess everyone is still recruiting him very hard, especially TX...

One thing that irks me about pay site articles, they don't always state where the info that led to the authors conclusion came from. And that's intentional if the article/post is intended for views IMHO.

In this case...
A) Info came from any staff member at a school not named LSU-- whatever is my response.
B) Info came from other recruits not committed to LSU-- eh, could be something to it.
C) Info came from LSU staffer-- something to it
D) Info came from interview with the recruit-- definitely something to it

Seriously, makes no sense for him to decommit. With 4 of 5 linemen being seniors if my memory is correct, he has a great chance of starting early in his time at LSU. Plus with Grimes and Cam as his coaches, not to mention that the family will be able to see 'both' sons play at the same time, well, this is a no-brainer. But with all this said, he is a high school kid so who frigging knows. Those guys can be all over the place.

Is the thread based off of picking a current commit to decommit?

Or is it about Maea?

This.

Is it an article stating this kid is the most likely to decommit or an article saying that's what they think will happen?

This is what it is. I don't think the OP could have described the situation more poorly than he did.

Scout asked 5 of their Midlands reporters which kids they think are most likely to switch their commitment. They all said they think the kids are solid, but 4 of 5 picked Deionte Thompson, and one picked Teuheuma.

ah

Not worried about Teuheuma...he clearly wants to play with his brother.

So you are saying the OP pretty much bullshitted the spirit of article to gain interest from readers. Dude is a natural born Journalist for the 21st century.

sounds like it's not even that. Sounds like it's a "if you had to choose a decommitment, who would it be" article.
