I think most on here have absolutely no problem with kids who have a change of heart and notify the coaching staff that they are wavering on such a big decision. In the case of Fowler he CALLED THE LSU COACHES the week before NSD and reaffirmed his commitment which is called LYING to people you have had a positive relationship with for years to the point of being committed to trust the next four years of your life to their program. This is totally chicken shite on the kids part, Strong told him not to commit to Texas but the kid chose to make that call. Martin, on the other hand, has called the TCU coaches and informed them that he was wavering due to increased interest from his in state school. If you'd like to "call out the hypocrites" pick an instance that holds water please.

I think its very interesting that there were dozens of posts on this board and others about Fowler wavering on his commitment to LSU. More than a week prior to signing day many people were saying he was going to Texas. Now there are those who claim it was a surprise? All this was going on and the LSU coaches didn't know they were in a dog fight for the guy? Come on man......

The issue isn't that we weren't concerned. We all heard the rumors. The issue is he placed a call to the coaches reaffirming his commitment.

You can believe what you want to believe but that doesn't make it true. The coaches were VERY concerned and were just about in constant contact with him up to his signing with Texas. That comes from one of the people involved. His exact words were "we did everything we could do under the rules. We lost and mama won..."

Why do you keep repeating the same thing. Sure everyone was concerned, as I stated, including the coaches. However, it doesn't change the fact that his words were reassuring, and because of that he lied. He lost his credibility with his words in my opinion. This is very different than Sci, who VERBALIZED that he is reconsidering.
