Nickel at first. I see him as a hybrid DB. He can do it all.

He'll have the Jalen Mills role where he's a hybrid of a safety and a cornerback. He can play any position in the secondary. That kind of versatility is amazing for the team.

Or maybe you could put that in a different way which doesn't call him out for his lack of understanding. How about you provide a summary on the 3 levels of a defense and which positions would fall under the definition of "DB".

Go ahead and include a description for the nickel and dime packages so that we understand the balance of DL LB & DB. What impact does the 4-3 vs 3-4 have on the DB positions. I'm sure that there are many on this site who would love to know those details but are too afraid to ask.


What impact does the 4-3 vs the 3-4 have on DB's?? Also could you explain the difference between the 3-4 and the 5-2?
