Just Racey so far and it was unfortunate but Rice flipped on us. The big names that we're in the mix for aren't announcing til NSD (except TE), so you're doing nothing but driving up your blood pressure if you're getting worked up over none of them committing.

Did you really think there wouldn't be any fallout from Les almost getting fired in late 15, and then getting dumped mid-season. That is a negative recruiting buffet right there.
My point is that the recruiting co still does what he's told. He still targets who the head coach decides. The priorities and philosophy come from above. He, like any recruiting co, was selling someone else's product.
Let the year play out and see what O and the staff do next year. He doesn't get a totally free pass for this year, but let's see how this staff's first full class goes before making sweeping judgements.

I really hope you're right. I had a good feeling until recently. Bama is pushing for him hard, apparently, and with their track record of poaching players from that part of the state, I'm getting pessimistic. I hope the fact that he's supposedly close to Rashard Lawrence gives LSU the edge here.

Yeah I saw that almost as soon as it was made, but I didn't report it because I knew I would be inundated with down votes, like the last time I reported a negative CB and just like you are getting inundated with down votes for posting this negative thread, I got inundated with down votes also. Live and learn. Oh well, it is what it is.

Maybe, but until Sonny and Shea come off their 50/50, I think we are still in it for Mathis. Hopefully we will hear something after O's in-home tonight.
