honestly I think this means we get Wilson. I know we all would have loved to pull in Shelvin, Wilson, and Mathis but 2 out of 3 is good too

Agree, having moved to primarily a 3-4, prospects have to be mindful of numbers. We've already got 3 down lineman committed, with hopefully Wilson to be added. That's a lot in any one cycle, regardless of how the current depth chart looks.

Saban has put an increased emphasis on Louisiana this cycle to stifle any excitement that could possibly be had from the HC change.

Mathis pushed Lawrence to LSU. it just seems odd he is not coming to LSU. We will see soon where he is going

He saw an opening with Miles' issues at the end of 2015 and with his firing, and he's taken full advantage. You can bet he's still selling instability, even though things have settled out for us over the last month.
I don't know if we should all concede Mathis is gone based on Sam S, since he seems to be all over the damn place. It's still not good that this battle is coming down to the wire, though.

Don't think so if he comes to Bama I think it will be about playing time. We only have R. Davis, Smith, Payne and one other guy I can't even remember his name. This is simply about available playing time. He will be in the rotation with significant reps at Bama assuming this CB is even accurate.

Kendall Jones didn't qualify plus next year hand and Frazier are gone so to be honest by sophomore year he may start there but I hope we get him and Wilson
