I hope landing Nkemiche wont scare away Williams and Beckwith.

I want to see Nkemdiche at DT if he is willing to play there. With Freak taking the double team in the middle and Rasco/Mingo coming around the edges, I can see Nkemdiche pulling DE sack numbers.

I doubt a 6-5 guy running a 4.5 will play DT, plus Mingo wont be at LSU much longer. I think he would be great as a DE. A combo of tyson jackson and sam montgomery.

Mingo will most likely be gone by the time this guy gets to any college campus.
RN is not coming here.

This kid seems pretty jacked up about LSU. It's also kind of odd that he would visit LSU then go on a rant like that. Then cancel his next visit, set his commit date and announce that he knows were he is going. He also visited with his whole freaking high school team. No doubt in my mind it's down to LSU and Ole Miss. Rantards just can't except the fact that the number 1 player might just want to be a tiger. Who could blame you after last year tho. NO WAY HE PLAY'S JACK LB!!! He can alway's play DE in college then project to OLB in the NFL. It doesn't happen the other way around to often if at all. He could play all over LSU and Ole Miss dline.

I knew LSU would be in the thick of it, but this kids recruitment will not be over until NSD.

I'm not interested at all in who he commits to in May. I still say in the end he ends up at Bama, but LSU and Ole Miss will make it interesting.

No way its down to just LSU and Ole Miss. We have a chance with him, but bama has as good of shot as anyone with him. I hope he ends up at LSU I think he'd make a great DE.

Not coincidentally, before Nkemdiche, Bama had only offered one of his Grayson kids in the 10 years he's been there.

I think the 4.5 40 is a bit exaggerated especially for a guy that size. I cannot see him not getting even bigger at such a young age. I will count on the norm to happen in which his body won't stop developing for at least another 2 years and by that time there is no way he runs that fast. He can play DE or DT for LSU but I like the current young guys on the DE depth more than DT depth. I can see him around Tyson Jackson's size at minimum.

well some claim a 4.4 so I was being modest

Agree, I see him outgrowing the LB position, which is where bama wants him, and having to play with his hand down and I think playing that at LSU would be better than the other schools hes cosidering.

yea, I think his development from here on will determine his position, and how fast he really is.

Do you guys think we now have a legit chance after his visit? He says he will announce his decision on May 18th.
You guys can throw this shite out the window. We all know where he's going.

Torshiro Davis' former coach & Denzell Devall's former DC @ Bastrop (who are one in the same person) didn't push kids anywhere, either.

Suuuuuuuuuure.

WTF are you doing on our board spewing that kinda tripe? I mean, its one thing to comment and contribute here in a logical, thoughtful manner.

But that assertion is just complete & utter BS, and you know it.

I really hope that I don't get in trouble for doing this, but I just read that his father said that LSU is his favorite coming out of the weekend. He said some other things, but that is all I'm going to post. Take it FWIW.

Now, he may educate RN on Alabama but that would as far as he would go, IMO. If he chooses Alabama it will be because of the relationships he has with the Alabama staff. LSU, Clemson, and Ole Miss will all make it a long wait until May 18th

really, what are you doing trying to using logic and rational thought like this

I could not agree more with your above post. I think many of these HS coaches are a lot more profession that message board tards give them credit for. Coaching outside Atlanta or in Houston, Dallas etc is not the same as coaching in some small town in La or Al where the entire community are LSU or Bama fans.

That Torshiro Davis' coach got a job in Texas after being fired a few months back? Or that he drove Denzell Devall over to Bama on unofficial visits 'out of the kindness of his heart'?

Yeah, got tons of links for you. Lemme fire 'em right now. He admits to everything. Because you konw that's what folks do. They immediately spill their guts on the internet so we can leave a hyper text protocol link for you to click on.

Get real, dude. When Melvin Oliver & LaMarcus Rowell were being recruited by Saban back in the day, I asked their HS Coach about the influence that Auburn could expect with all the fans there in their town (while sort've leaving unsaid that he himself was a huge Auburn homer).

He told me it was a given he'd give them as much info about Auburn as they'd like because he was familiar with them and he'd love to see his kids play there.

If you think it doesn't happen, you're dreaming.
