Oh, Prater will be the man..... at WR. Woods should and hopefully be at corner.

I have no ideaq how this whole draft thing will pan out, I have no idea what I'm doing, is it bad that I'm the 1st to take a QB?

Not really because Heaps is far and away the best this year. But since the QB class is so weak, it might have been better to wait.

But Heaps is still really, really good.

It's all subjective. You got the best QB in a weak QB class.

I wouldn't have taken him but I don't think it's a totally botched pick if you really like him. Especially because QB is a difficult position.

I think people might have worried aboot placing him somewhere because he is an ATH.

I was really shooting for Milliner, but this will do just fine. I believe that Milliner will be the best corner in this class.

That's what I was thinking. Woods could end up a 1st round WR.

that was my thing, he was the only QB I was even remotely interested in and I figure there are multiple players at every other position

I'm laying down the law here... if a guy doesn't make his 1st round pick, he's donezo. Sorry, but it's no fair to make everyone wait days for people to show up.

I like having the top 3 all on the clock. I vote to keep it like that throughout.

Yeah, it makes sense for times sake.

Somewhat ruins the "integrity" of the draft order for later in the process, but oh well.

I think Heaps is a good first pick, mostly because there are going to be a lot of teams with horrible QB's.

It sure does.

Otherwise, the same purpose could have been fulfilled much quicker by asking people to post a class filling 22 positions with one 5-star, ten 4-stars, and eleven 3-stars.

It's okay in this first round to set the draft order, but after that it becomes a cluster frick.

I agree that participants should check in often to keep things going, but why should someone get my spot just because he hits submit faster than me or didn't have to step away from the computer at that particular point in time?

Timing shouldn't be as much of an issue once people start getting to work tomorrow (except for me who knows that I'll have a busy morning).

I suggest a similar set up to how the other site is doing theirs with time limits and skipping during certain hours but not altering the draft order once it's set.

OK, I just thought it was working fine like that. It just seems like this is gonna take weeks if we have 22 rounds to of it. The other sites rules look good, I hadn't seen them.

Good point Hand. Well stick to the order once Round 1 is complete.

With the 18th pick in the 2010 Recruiting Board Mock Draft OBUDan takes: Shon Coleman

I pondered going multiple directions with this pick but I couldn't ignore a physical specimen like Coleman. At 6'7, 285, Coleman has prototypical size and will anchor my line at the LT position. He's also a fine athlete for his size.

I really wanted a DL, and strongly considered taking William Gholston because I love his upside but at the end of the day I couldn't ignore a beastly LT to anchor my line.

Nice catch. I was on the train when I checked the thread earlier on my phone and saw the Lattimore pick and then didn't double check and just assumed it was Dro who had taken him when I looked the first time.
