Moses definitely looks the part and has an eye popping highlight film, but it's impossible to gauge how good a player is based on highlight films alone. One of my coworkers (former football coach) went to see one of his games when he came near our area. He said that when Moses recognizes the flow, he's a missle. But a lot of the times he gets lost and doesn't impact the play like a top prospect should. With that said, I hope he winds up at LSU and won't be one of the ones saying "he sucks anyway" if he goes somewhere else.

But you have to admit, Alabama's on the field record since 2008 kinda validates how highly ranked their players are by the recruiting sites.

Just shows me Saban can't get the most out of his talent.

And Bama wins NC's How wrong are they actually

Look at the ranking disparity between sites. Recruiting services that LSU makes money rank LSU recruits higher and vice versa. the same for bama.
Tiger bait fell off a while back and our players have been ranked lower there ever since. The emergence of Shea Dixon and the LSU 247 staff have increased membership and rankings for LSU prospects on that service.

Bama still has a high volume of rivals subscriptions, and probably higher across all services.

If you take any of the 10+ player rankings from the 16 class's Jr and SR year besides the one 2 weeks from signing day we end up #1 or close to it. It was the re-ranking 2 weeks before signing day when everyone pretty much had an idea of where people were ending up that dropped us 13 points. that last re-ranking our players started dropping left and right to make room for an OSU/Bama rise, 2 of their biggest customers. These are businesses not unbiased public services. How is letting the competition cater to your biggest client while you don't a smart move?

4 of the 5 biggest drops in the top 100 were LSU prospects. The same LSU that held number 1 for some time, and the same players they all agreed had been ranked properly for the previous 9 updates (2 years). Yeah they all magically got worse between the end of their senior season and signing day

Can't really complain though it is what it is. If more LSU faithful opened up their wallet for memberships we'd get what we pay for. Nothing wrong with pointing it out though. I'll regard our players as highly as the entire country did from Jr. year summer circuit to 2 weeks prior to signing day

frick Rivals. I hope 247 puts them out of business. I was banned from the Main Board for no reason whatsoever. I sent a polite email asking why and never received a response. Sent another 2 emails and still no response. Tried to cancel my membership but their old phone number is discontinued. A recording from that phone call gave me directions on how to cancel. Followed those directions for several days and still couldn't cancel because it was the only webpage on their entire network that wouldn't load. Finally just had to call my credit card company. I wish nothing but bad things for that company. frick Rivals
