I say take as many QBs as we can until we find some one who can play QB. Hell, take 10 QBs in the class. 6 high school QBs, 2 JUCO's, 1 transfer and 1 prep school QB. And start taking some walk-on QBs from Texas and Bosnia and wherever else.

If we get Patrick towles we are even worse off than I thought at quarterback. There is a reason Kentucky fans are happy he is gone.

You do realize we picked up Danny Etling from Purdue earlier this year right? He was even worse at purdue than Towles at Kentucky. How can you not even average 5 yards per pass attempt?

We have to do it.

Harris did just start playing football a few years ago. I think he is a slow learner. The game will slow down next year. But I agree lets go get this guy

The problem with Harris is not the player it is the scheme. When Harris has looked the best is when he is allowed to scramble and be a true dual-threat qb (like he was recruited to be). So if we get an OC that utilizes that then we are good to go.

However we should definetly make a run the Ferguson. A pro-style qb fits the Miles/Cameron style better than a dual threat qb does. I would prefer Eason or Haskins, but Ferguson would be great to add some depth. Plus the whole iron sharpens iron thing, a qb competition in the offseason would not be a bad thing when you had the craptastic qb play that LSU had the last half of the season.
