If I’m Kelly, im going all in on collins

You lost Holstein, manning, and Moore

Collins has to be a priority

Because qbs get hurt and/or transfer out all the time. You ALWAYS need competent qb play. It's one of the reasons lsu has struggled on offense for so many years. The schools that compete for championships year in and year out almost always get a great qb every year.

I would be ok with never hearing the word “manning” again when talking about lsu

People obsess with them way too much

He won’t stick with Purdue that’s for sure.

I think LSU has a good chance with him unless they add someone unexpected

If you look at Cincy’s offense from years past, he’s EXACTLY the QB you want in Denbrock’s system

Why do you say this. Everything being said on here is the exact opposite of this statement.

Why would he flip? Would think the path to starting is easier at Purdue. The name of the game is playing time

Agreed! Walker Howard is gonna redshirt. Getting a QB in this class isn’t a priority IMO. Especially with the portal the way it is.

My concern is that if we don't get a QB in this class, it's going to be tough in 2024. We have 3 studs in Louisiana for 23, none for 24. Overall the QB crop for next year looks pretty thin quality-wise to this year's crop. And from 247 and Rivals, looks like we're in none of the top 10 QBs for 24.

If he thinks he can get on the field faster at Purdue. He's probably going to stay there.

If the #1 HS recruit in the nation was a Louisiana QB named Smith folks would be obsessed with him.

Portal solves that fairly easily.
