What is the latest you guys are hearing on Richie?

FWIW his stats from his first game 20 tackles, 3sacks, a 40 yd TD pass, and 20 yd TD run out of the wildcat.

RB will be a Tiger when it is said and done.I suspect he will commit later this season once he comes to an LSU game on his official. Opportinity to play early on a contender and proximity to home are factors.

After that BYU game, Ole Miss is probably changing his mind for us.

It sucks that we have a stud like Richie Brown having legitimate interest in playing for LSU right up the road on I-10 but LA is all of a sudden stacked with linebackers. Where are these guys during the dry seasons?

Recruits will soon start to realize that Nutt and Richt are ticking time bombs. Not in their best interest to go there if they care about knowing who they'll be playing for in a year or two.

I'd love to add this guy and Devall at LB. Talking about a loaded LB class for LSU.

Hopefully Devall is seeing how LSU is using Mingo and he could be used in a similar hybrid role.

Brassel and Moncrief. Brassel dropped a sure TD pass that would have won the game for Ole Miss.

Well, to be fair, the Ole Miss defense played extremely well. Perhpas the BYU offense is going to be horrible - I don't know. But Ole Miss did not lose that game because of the play of their defense. It was really good.

Everyone says Nutt has a negative effect on quarterbacks, maybe he's bring the receivers down too.

Bundy,

What are you hearing on A.J. Jefferson (North Pike)?
His coach told Yancy Porter in a 9/07/11 Scout Premium article a "top ten" team's defensive coordinator is recruiting him and will soon offer.

Do you think it's LSU or Bama?

I've been hearing he is leaning towards Southern Miss due to family connections. He has only mentioned the in state schools in interviews I have read. He did say he went to an LSU camp this summer so I'm guessing he is referring to LSU over Bama.

I doubt either offer. He is a little undersized for a SEC DE at 6'2" 230.

With Jelani Hamilton a big possibility for us, I doubt he gets an offer until we know something from Hamilton
