My brother was contacted for information about his son by a football recruiting service based out of the Lake Charles area. EPS is the name of the company and there is a fee for their service to do your recruiting for scholarships.....Does anyone have information on this service or anything similar?

It's not groundbreaking news, but hoping someone can help as this is the recruiting board. Thanks

Recruiting is dirty. That being said, there are legitimate services out there. Also, dirty or not, are they effective and worth the fee. My opinion is no based on the ways to "get the word out" and the prevalence of camps.

I would have your brother contact Sharon Lewis about EPS. It would probably need to be your nephew or his guardian that needs to ask the questions considering NCAA rules, not you. But she could very likely answer that question. Then do the same with a non-coach at McNeese. One of the things to know is if they only have ties with one in-state school. Hence, if only known in the halls of one and not the other is somewhat of a flag, and to be known by neither is an obvious issue.

ETA: I assumed football, so named Sharon Lewis. If another sport I do not know the name to contact.

Put more time into math and English skills of all kinds and vocabulary. Be able to hit 31 on act as well as that 4.5 40.
More doors open to great students even if hes a two star.

Good to research services. Research best test taking seminars too. Test taking is a learned skill.
I went from 400 wpm to 800 in a two day course.

Contact Lee Brecheen. He's the founder of Louisiana Football Magazine. I believe he also owns a legitimate recruiting service.

Thanks for all of the information. It helped. My brother and I found out what we needed to know. Be cautious with those type of services. Google, Twitter, and a few calls/texts from resources you provided gave us all of the information we needed believe it or not
